My diet is mostly fruitarian; although, socially I still eat an alkaline diet. I feel much better during the weeks and months when I am 100% fruitarian (juicy fruit, raw green leafy vegetables and very minimal nuts). Therefore, posts like these are inspiring me as much as I hope that they will inspire you. Note: This is not something that the average mixed eater can jump into right away. You would definitely want to consult a wholistic health coach  who will help you transition into a vegan or raw vegan diet first.

Cooked food, especially starch, is more challenging to digest. It causes flatulence, indigestion, heart burn and overeating. Then people take anti-acids and/or eventually become diagnosed with “diseases” like Acid Reflux, Celiac Disease, Colonitis, Colon Cancer, Crohn’s Disease, Gastritis, Hernia, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, ulcers, etc. The list of diseases, caused by indigestible meals, are too long to list in this post.

We have been socially inspired to eat for taste. Most of us have been addicted to food substances like sugar, salt and starchy foods since birth. Among other things, this has affected our energy and concentration. I will be writing more about these addictions, in the future.
